New Program - Iowa Bowling Relief Fund

Funded by the federal Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act, the Iowa Economic Development Authority is administering an allocation of approximately $2 million, until funds have been exhausted, to be distributed to eligible Iowa Bowling Centers.

For the purposes of the program, a “bowling center” is a building or enclosed area containing lanes for the game of bowling. All applications must be submitted no later than 5:00 p.m. July 30. 

As a reminder, prior to beginning an application, please confirm the applicant's business is in good standing with the Iowa Department of Revenue, Iowa Alcoholic Beverage Division, and Iowa Department of Inspections and Appeals. Please email questions to iowabusinessrelief@iowaeda.com with BOWLING CENTER RELIEF included in the subject line.
