SURTECO North America, located in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, has purchased Omnova Laminates, Performance Films and Coated Fabrics. The acquisition will solidify SURTECO’s position as market leader for decorative surfaces in North America.
Omnova produces decorative papers and performance films, as well as 2D and 3D decorative vinyl with production facilities in Jeannette PA, Auburn PA, and Monroe, NC. The Coated Fabrics production is in Rayong Thailand with a distribution center in Columbus, MS. They are a leader in transportation and commercial seating surfaces, as well as the marine industry. Omnova has sales of $280m with 863 employees.
